Dr. De Andrade earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in 1988 before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1995. During his time at NYU, he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, The National Dental Honor Society. This honor reflects both his academic achievement and his early dedication to excellence in dentistry.

Following dental school, Dr. De Andrade completed a two-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York, from 1995 to 1997. This residency provided him with valuable experience in comprehensive patient care and helped further develop the clinical foundation that would support his specialty career. He then continued his advanced training with a three-year specialty program in periodontics at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center from 1997 to 2000.

Throughout his career, Dr. De Andrade has remained deeply involved in organized dentistry and professional leadership. He served as President of the Nevada Dental Association from 2021 to 2022 and is currently serving as Secretary of the Nevada Dental Association. He has also served as director of the Southern Nevada Premier Study Club and the Henderson chapter of the Seattle Study Club, a nationally recognized study club for dentists. These roles reflect his commitment not only to his own patients, but also to advancing the profession and supporting the continued growth of dental education within the community.

Education has remained an important part of Dr. De Andrade’s professional life. From 2003 to 2011, he served as a part-time faculty member at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine, helping train and mentor future dental professionals. He also served as Chairman of the Advisory Board to the School of Dental Medicine under Dean Karen West from 2016 to 2019. Through these positions, he contributed to the development of dental education in Nevada and helped support the next generation of clinicians.

Dr. De Andrade is also an active member of several respected dental and periodontal organizations.
